Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day for the Jr. High!

Aren't they just the COOLEST Grandparents you've ever seen?

My Pops posin' with the KING!!

Gma Norah decided to copy and tried to "one up" Pops by her pose!!
These two always competin'...especially when it's against eachother!!

There was a swing dance competition and sure enough Grandma & Grandpa were up on stage ready to compete!  Grandma wished that Ala would have told her she could have dressed up 50's!  We all KNOW she's got a closet full of poodle skirts for this occasion.  Still, they STOLE the SHOW!!  Afterwards, Ala joined them on the floor...I love that this kid isn't shy at ALL!  He gets it from his grandma alright!!
Ala and his band mate, Michael posing one time!!

Ala performing with his band to entertain their grandparents...he plays the baritone!
I think Ala had the youngest lookin' grandparents there tonight!
So grateful for my mom & dad being so supportive and of course, SUPER COOL!!   =)

Family Program leads to FHE FUN!!

Our family had the sacrament mtg program yesterday.  Kids did so great!!  Koloi & Andrew even spoke and bore their testimonies!  Our topic:  Sacrifice.  We were given a week to prepare...so through the week we studied, pondered, fasted and prayed that we'd share the message Heavenly Father wanted us to.  Beanie sang a solo:  He Sent His Son, Koloi bore his testimony, Andrew bore his testimony (they both did it all by themselves!  We were so PROUD of them since they are only 2&3 years old.) Beanie spoke, Ala spoke, then we sang "Choose The Right" as a family.  We chose that song because  Drewby & Koloi know that song too.  Ended our program with myself & then Justin speaking.  I felt the spirit so strong and only pray our ward was able to take something in and remember the importance of sacrifice.  =)  Well, the past week was a bit stressful and busy with so much focus on the program, that we decided this week would be filled with TONS of FUN for our family.  We decided to go swimming for FHE!!
We took Bobo & Naki with us.  Then we ran into a couple of the Havea boys at the rec center.   Look at that lil' Beanie, only girl, but can still HANG with the boys!!  =)

Justin, Drewby & Koloi with Tui Havea

Our poor boys gettin' REJECTED to come back down from the slide since it was now 9p.m.   LOL!!
